Article 3
Princess
Iâm just as pretty as a princess and sure do live up to my name!
Iâm a gorgeous 1½-year-old kitty with big green eyes that you wonât forget. I came into the shelter with my three kittens, and now that theyâve all found a home, itâs my turn.
Iâm a little bit overwhelmed by all of the pets looking for homes here, and the staff thinks I would prefer to be your one and only pet, but trust me, Iâll be worth it! Iâll meow for attention and am so appreciative when I get shown the love that a gal like me deserves.
I wouldnât mind living in a home with older kids and adults, but I donât like all of the action that young children bring. If you take time to play with me, youâll see my goofy side, too!
Donât forget, all new adopters receive a free first veterinarian visit to your choice of 16 local vets.
Rose
Hey, itâs me, Rose! Iâm your typical playful, adorable 4-month-old Lab puppy who is looking for a family thatâs willing to have some fun with me.
Iâm an active girl, and you may notice when Iâm running around that I have an oddly shaped leg. This is just from when I was small puppy, and I might still grow out of it one day.

Greater Nashua Big Sister nominated for national honor
Each year, Big Brothers Big Sisters of America delivers a call to agency affiliates to recognize a volunteer who is worthy of being nominated as a National Big Brother and Big Sister of the Year.
These nominees exemplify people who are not only dedicated to their Little Brother or Little Sister, but are personally invested in the organization and their community.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Nashua decided Big Sister Pamme Boutselis was a worthy candidate for this nomination. In April, the organization will find out whether Boutselis has been selected as Big Sister of the Year for the country. If so, the match will go to the White House to meet the president and will travel to Colorado in June to be honored at the national conference.
Here is an excerpt from the BBBS Nashua teamâs submission regarding Big Sister of the Year. In following months, in a four-part series, youâll read an ongoing Match of the Month story that will highlight the Big Sistersâ perspective as well as the parent and childâs perspective of the match.
Perfect match
Our BBBS Nashua team first met Hannah when she was a 6-year-old to be interviewed for the Big Brothers Big Sisters program.

Thanks for help with benefit
To the Editor:
We would like to thank everyone who helped make the Benefit For Steve such a success. It was a collective effort by many, and we could not have done it without you!
The biggest thanks go out to the family, friends and businesses that donated raffle items; those who volunteered in so many ways, from providing food items to selling tickets; and those who helped spread the word.
Many generous people came together to make this a success. Many of them know Steve, but many did not.
It is simply amazing the amount of love and support that was demonstrated. As you can imagine, the list is long.
We want to extend a special thanks to Marthaâs Exchange for the use of their function room and managing the bar.
