When Robert Manseau was chosen as one of three 2012 National High School Principal of the Year finalists, it obviously was a great honor for him and the entire Campbell High School community. The recognition is sponsored by MetLife and the National Association of Secondary School Principals. The finalists will be interviewed on July 18 in Washington, D.C., and an overall winner will be selected. Manseau was awarded a check for $1,500 to be used in any way for educational improvements. Manseau put his 40 years of experience into coming up with an idea about how to spend the money to help the Campbell High environment. He thought about what the school lacked, and the answer was communication. Being a student at Campbell for three years now, I completely agree with him because many times, important announcements are missed because of students talking or not paying attention.
