A well-known Nashua veterans activist and philanthropist has received one of the highest awards in the state veterans community. Thomas Tessier will be the 31st recipient of the Maurice McQuillen Service to Fellow New Hampshire Veterans Award. The award is named in memory of the first editor of the Union Leaderâs Veterans Page.
