Litchfield Middle School celebrates counselors’ contributions

LITCHFIELD – Litchfield Middle School celebrated School Counseling Week from Feb. 6-10. The week is sponsored by the American School Counseling Association to bring attention to the contributions of professional school counselors and to bring awareness of how students are different as a result of what school counselors do. More than 29,000 school counselors nationwide participated in the week’s activities. Litchfield Middle School celebrated by having morning announcements about character and contributing to the appreciation bulletin board. The staff also enjoyed a continental breakfast put together by school counselor Mary Cummings with the support of the Litchfield Middle School PTO, hosted by hospitality coordinator Cathy Snyder.
