MILFORD – The Boys & Girls Club of Souhegan Valley received a grant from the Kaley Foundation to help upgrade its fleet of vehicles used to transport children from local schools to and from the club on Mont Vernon Street. Because of the large geographic area the club serves, and because many club members have families with two working parents, transportation is increasingly critical to fulfilling the club’s mission to enable all young people to reach their potential. “We are thankful for the support of the Kaley Foundation,” said Susan Taylor, executive director of the club. “The news traveled through our staff like a shock wave. Everyone is excited about our new vehicle and our increased ability to provide safe, reliable transportation for the kids in our community.” The club is seeking additional partners to help defray the cost of replacing older vehicles. For more information, contact Denise King, director of development, at 672-1002, ext.
