Different cultures featured at Alvirne fair

There are a lot of traditions familiar to Alvirne High School that are entirely foreign to anyone outside “the farm.” One fond tradition each year is the Multi-Cultural Fair. The fair is organized by students with the aid of Brett Vance, a teacher of varying subjects from world history to sociology. It’s used to celebrate the different backgrounds from which students come, as well as to enjoy a day of interactive learning. The fair is held in the gymnasium and runs all day.
