MERRIMACK â The Doris and Vivian Horton Fund of the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation recently announced that it awarded a $25,000 grant to St. Joseph Community Services to support its Meals on Wheels program.
âThe New Hampshire Charitable Foundation is pleased to support this important program providing critical nutritional support to some of Hillsborough Countyâs most vulnerable residents,â said Anne Phillips, senior program officer.
âOver the past few years,â said Meghan Brady, president of St. Joseph Community Services, âfunding has remained flat, while need and costs have risen significantly. This grant from the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation supports our efforts to provide a hot, nutritious meal and a safety check for homebound adults who cannot provide meals for themselves.
âWe are deeply grateful for the support from the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation.â
