Nashua mayor issues proclamation for Scout’s Eagle project

NASHUA – Mayor Donnalee Lozeau presented Boy Scout Troop 6 Eagle Scout Jeremy Sayers with a special commendation from the city of Nashua in November. The commendation reads, “Through your journey to becoming an Eagle Scout, you have taught us that you are true to your community, and reminded us that one person can make a difference. The City of Nashua extends this special commendation to Eagle Scout Jeremy Sayers for helping people live better lives and completing the requirements by developing an improvement project to present to the Nashua Parks and Recreation Department; then executed his design plans by coordinating and leading more than 20 volunteers on a trail improvement project from the Sawmill Hill Park to the New Hampshire Heritage Trail, which included clearing overgrown trees and bushes and laying down sand and gravel, and having been examined by an Eagle Scout Board of Review on the 16th day of November 2011 and found worthy of the Rank of Eagle Scout. Boy Scout Troop 6 meets from 7-8 p.m. Mondays at 154 Main St.
