BEDFORD â Pam Magrath, of Nashua, was among 100 Granite State Ambassadors honored for welcoming and assisting visitors and residents in New Hampshire.
Magrath has accumulated more than 500 volunteer hours since 2006, and works at the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport and other visitor centers in the state, including the Seabrook center.
âEvery time I go somewhere, no matter where I volunteer, itâs something different in regard to helping somewhere,â Magrath said. âAnd everywhere you go as a GSA, you meet people from all around the world.â
On June 7, New Hampshire information specialists were recognized for their volunteer efforts at an awards ceremony held at Bedford Town Hall. Throughout the year center managers, tourism and state officials and travelers give kudos to ambassadors with whom theyâve interacted.
