They havenât been wearing the school uniform for weeks now.
All of their finals were finished before underclassmen like me took a single test.
And now everyone at Bishop Guertin High School has been watching the class of 2012 go through its last few days of high school before graduation at 2 p.m. Sunday.
Excited and bittersweet, the seniors at BG are on their way out, but with quite a few stops along the way.
On Monday, when all of the underclassmen had their last day of classes before finals, the seniors took a day trip to Lake Winnipesaukee for a cruise around the lake and lunch as a class.
On Tuesday, when underclassmen were starting finals, the seniors had the first BG Senior Send-Off, a class discussion about how BG has changed them as people over four years. The keynote speaker of this event, which is meant to be held annually, was motivational speaker Ed Gerety, who spoke to the seniors about success in college and beyond.
âMy favorite part about it was Ed Gerety,â said senior Rebecca Scheetz, of Bedford. âHeâs incredibly energetic and clearly loves what he does.
