Soccer group gives city seeder

The Soccer Council of Nashua presented a check to Mayor Donnalee Lozeau, Nick Caggiano, Parks and Recreation Superintendent and Lisa Fauteux, Public Works Division Director, on Nov. 2 to purchase a new field grass seeder to replace the city’s 1970s model. The seeder cuts grooves in the soil and plants grass seeds in the grooves to promote growth in worn turf areas. Parks and Recreation will use the equipment to maintain city fields between major field renovations.
