Ladies, whether you have an old prom gown in your closet or an old bridesmaid dress that you prayed would never see the light of day again, it is time to considering breaking it out and letting your inner prom diva take control. On Saturday, April 28, women throughout Greater Nashua are invited to join a girls night out to benefit St. Joseph Hospital Breast Cancer Center at the second annual Mom Prom at the Radisson Hotel Nashua from 7-11 p.m. The event is a local offshoot of what’s become a national night out for women that benefits others. Created by Betsy Crapps, the sister of Katie Paulsen, of Nashua, who leads Nashua’s prom committee (as they jokingly call themselves), the event is for all women 21 and older, not just moms. “She started this idea about eight years ago in Michigan when our mom moved from our childhood home and gave my sister all of her old prom gowns,” Paulsen said.
