Pelham Pack 25 Scouts ‘Leave No Trace’

PELHAM – Cub Scout Pack 25 followed the theme “Leave No Trace” as they scrubbed cars and then scoured the Village Green recently. Pelham’s annual Easter egg hunt was postponed and scheduled simultaneously with Pack 25’s car wash. The boys embraced this: After a day of washing cars and then RGA’s “ginormous” tow vehicle at the Pelham Fire Station, they hopped on over to the Village Green to gather up trash from the Easter egg festivities, too. “The boys’ eagerness to continue on with their day’s clean theme was amazing,” said Beth Knight, of Pack 25. “Although we were disappointed that we couldn’t enjoy the awesome Easter egg hunt and all its fun, we took the opportunity to find pleasure in doing good for our town. “ ‘Leave No Trace’ is a plan that helps people to be more concerned about their environment and to help them protect it for future generations.
