Wilton-Lyndeborough Cooperative High School has always tried to strive for excellence from its students.
The guidance department held an assembly March 12 for juniors, sophomores and freshmen in recognition of those who improved their scores on the NECAP tests. Any junior who had an improved score received a T-shirt saying âWLC, Iâm Wicked Smart.â
Junior Miski Villalobos was happy to receive a shirt. She said it served as âa source of inspirationâ and made her want to strive to do well again.
Each junior who scored proficient or better on the test was given raffle tickets corresponding to his or her level of achievement and improvement. The more they had improved, the more raffle tickets and chances they had to win one of the many prizes offered.
At the assembly, the students placed the tickets in containers for the prizes they wanted.
