Community Champion nominees sought

MANCHESTER – Bellwether Community Credit Union will honor individuals who have made a positive impact on the lives of others through a community outreach program with the New Hampshire Fisher Cats and New Hampshire Fisher Cats Foundation. During the 2012 baseball season, the Bellwether Community Champion program will celebrate gratifying stories of everyday people doing extraordinary things throughout the state. The award will be presented to individuals who have made exceptional contributions to their community during an on-field presentation at select home games. The Community Champion will deliver the first pitch and enjoy VIP treatment, including parking, tickets and a stadium tour. The first champion will be recognized at Opening Day on April 12. Nominations will be accepted through Aug. 1.
