Michael Pellitteri won the final competition for the National Geographic Bee at Milford Middle School recently.
The school conducted the final round of the School Bee on Jan. 13 with the 10 students who scored the highest in the preliminary competition. The other finalists were Joy Ingram, Michael Golisano, Mac Erb, Quentin Girard, Nick Gutterson, Jennifer Carson, William Shepard, Jeremy Jackson and Alex Armirotto.
Pellitteri is eligible for the State Bee and a chance to represent New Hampshire at the national competition from May 22-24 in Washington, D.C.
This is the 24th year the National Geographic Society is holding the National Geographic Bee for students in grades 4-8.![]()
