Thousands of miles away from home, French and British students created a bond with a group of Bishop Guertin High School students.
The exchange is an undeniable way to establish a close friendship. The students visit America to learn about our culture and lifestyle and to have new experiences.
Bishop Guertin students welcomed the guests and in exchange, learned about their visitorsâ culture, language and traditions.
The students arrived from Les Chartreux, a boarding school in France, on March 14. Six girls and four boys came to New Hampshire for the ultimate experience of a new culture.
The exchange students received a complete American experience in the few days they had, participating in glow bowling, visiting Boston and taking part in many other fun activities.
The French students participated in making Easter baskets for local homeless shelters and also enjoyed the Mr. BG Pageant hosted by the school to benefit its Africa mission trip.
Even though the students left BG on March 28, this wonât be the last time theyâll see their new American friends.
