Nashua to celebrate Girl Scout Sunday with interfaith service

NASHUA – Girl Scouts from the Nashua community will observe the start of Girl Scout Week at an interfaith service at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 10, at The First Church, 1 Concord St. The theme, “Past and Present – Serving God and Community” highlights the organization’s 100-year history. During the Girl Scout Sunday service, recognition for recipients of religious and other awards such as Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards will be acknowledged by Nashua Mayor Donnalee Lozeau. The service also will offer readings and prayers from several faith communities and the singing of traditional songs and hymns.
