Merrimack Library to host ‘Teen Anti-Valentine’s Party’

MERRIMACK – Are you sick of Valentine’s Day’s gooey commercials, drippy love songs and hearts everywhere? Then come to the Merrimack Public Library from 4-5 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, for a “Teen Anti-Valentine’s Party to UNcelebrate.” Kids ages 12-18 will get to create black duct-tape roses, deface romance novel covers, compete for prizes in breakup song trivia and other contests, nosh on sweets and snacks, and more. Teens are encouraged – but not required – to wear black in lieu of traditional Valentine’s Day colors. Registration is requested at www.merrimack.lib.nh.us, 424-5021 or in person.
