The Souhegan Valley Quilters Guild announced that Jeannine Rigney, of Amherst, won its Autumn Gathering Quilt.
The quilt was shown at the Milford Pumpkin Festival and at The Gathering in Nashua. The sale of raffle tickets raised more than $2,000 for the guild, a nonprofit organization that supports the Stork Project and the New England Quilt Museum. The guild also has a Comfort Closet stocked with quilts members have made for local people going through life-changing challenges.
