Thanks for donations to school of medicine

To the Editor: At Dartmouth-Hitchcock and the Geisel School of Medicine, we often talk about the culture of caring that is at the heart of our shared commitment to improving the lives of the people and communities we serve. I write today to acknowledge a special group who are a critical part of this community of caring – the 34,000 donors who have made gifts to Dartmouth-Hitchcock and the Geisel School of Medicine during the past year. We are proud that so many choose to give in recognition of the care they or their loved ones have received, the promise of our medical research or the medical education they had here. Through their generosity, our donors touch people’s lives across New Hampshire and Vermont every day. Their gifts are also an investment in the future health of our region and our nation, sustaining our commitment to being innovators and leaders in health care.
