Amherst to hold annual three-day Tree Lighting Festival

AMHERST – The Amherst Tree Lighting Festival will be held Friday-Sunday, Dec. 7-9. All events are free or are accepting donations, unless stated otherwise. Here is the schedule: Friday, Kickoff – Tree Light-Up Night 6:30 p.m.: World War I Village Green, across from Moulton’s, Tree Lighting Ceremony, by the ATLF. Boy Scouts from Troop 22 will serve cocoa and chestnuts roasted on an open fire; accepting donations. Amherst First Baptist Church offers popcorn.
