The Student Government Association at Wilton-Lyndeborough Cooperative High School has a new adviser, social studies teacher Michael Dupont. In previous years, social studies teachers Julie Meyer and Ken Garnham advised the group. Being new to the SGA, Dupont said he has been getting help from Meyer, who now lives in Missouri.“This is a first-time thing for me,” Dupont said. The SGA is open to any student. The club organizes activities for the school, fundraises and serves as a voice of the student body. Some of the SGA members said Dupont is doing a good job for his first two weeks as the group’s adviser. “Dupont is doing a terrific job letting the students take charge, and he steps in when an adult is necessary,” said senior Miski Villalobos, the SGA’s  vice president, who has been  part of SGA since her freshman year.“Mr. Dupont has gotten the students to take initiative in the club,” SGA member Erin Beadle said. The first activity of the SGA, the Thanksgiving Food Drive, is taking place right now.
