According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the countryâs unemployment rate in 2009 was more than five times as high for people without a college degree.
Wilton-Lyndeborough Cooperative High School takes the college application process seriously. In previous years, WLC seniors have been accepted at several renowned universities, including Georgetown and Wake Forest.
Amanda Kovaliv, WLC director of guidance, leads seniors in the college application process. She introduces students to the college process in the spring of their junior year.
When fall rolls around the next school year, Kovaliv starts seniors off on the mad dash to college with a Common Application workshop.
