It is once again the time of year for Souhegan High Schoolâs fall play to grace the stage. This year it will be â12 Angry Jurors.â
âThe play centers on the jury in the trial of a young man indicted for the murder of his father,â said Latin teacher Steve Hodgman, the playâs director. âHe is of foreign background, and this factor, in addition to his youth and poverty, provokes many assumptions and biased responses among the jurors that restricts their ability to make a fair judgment in the case.
âOne juror, who has a âreasonable doubt,â becomes the conscience of the group with his probing questions and analysis of the evidence.â
There was a good turnout for the auditions, which were held Sept. 12-13.
âThere were 30 students who auditioned,â Hodgman said.
