NECAP testing took place at Alvirne High School last week, and the students were none too excited about it.
NECAP, or New England Common Assessment Program, is a series of tests designed to help the educational system reform its curriculum to teach students better. In high school, juniors are the only ones to take them.
The test is split into four portions: math, science, reading and writing. The writing, reading and math are taken during the first three classes of the day for three days in October. This year, the days fell on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
