Alvirne’s Brown presented Leonard A. Smith Memorial Scholarship

HUDSON – The Friends of the Library of Hudson announced this year’s recipient of the Leonard A. Smith Memorial Scholarship. Meghan Brown, a member of the class of 2012 at Alvirne High School, wrote a memorable essay describing the ways libraries in general, and specifically the George H. and Ella M. Rodgers Memorial Library, have had an impact on her and her education.
