NASHUA â What child big or small wouldnât love the chance to climb aboard a fire truck, big rig or cement mixer? On Aug. 4, area youngsters will have that opportunity as âTouch-A-Truckâ is held at Nashua High School South. The event will run from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
âTouch-A-Truckâ provides a unique opportunity for children to explore vehicles of all types â public service, emergency, utility, construction, delivery, and those that are just plain cool â all in one place.
Children will be allowed to touch, climb on and ask questions about their favorite trucks in a safe, supervised environment. Accompanying personnel will teach children about the equipment displayed and how these machines help in our community.
Trucks scheduled to attend the event include a police command vehicle provided by the Nashua Police Department, fire trucks from Nashua Fire Rescue, a trolley provided by Nashua Transit, and a Hannaford delivery truck.
