Senior Week has been a long-standing tradition at Campbell High School.
Each year on the last day of classes, seniors embark on The Spirit of Boston for a short night cruise. There is also a movie day and a beach day during the week of graduation.
Plus, there are activities such as the prom, senior awards and the senior barbecue spread throughout the final weeks.
What makes the class of 2012 unique was its kickoff, a senior class camp-out.
The event was coined Camp Bell 2012. This idea had been thrown around by seniors for a few months, and on May 20, the new tradition kicked off.
Seniors gathered at around 5 p.m. to start setting up for the evening and the various activities to accompany the camping.
âI thought the event unified the senior class,â senior Sean Gray said.
Gray and about 50 other seniors spent the evening in Campbellâs parking lot.
