The New Hampshire Rainbow Girls raised money at their recent Captives Carnival Fundraiser and Awareness event for their state charity, Davidâs House.
Miss Service, Sara Matthew, of Campton, organized the event, which had several willing âcaptivesâ locked up for the cause at the Penacook Masonic Temple in Boscawen. Many families attended and enjoyed carnival games, cotton candy and prizes, while captives called on friends and family to help bail them out of âjail.â
More than $3,000 was raised from bail donations.
Captives included many Masonic dignitaries:
Paul M. Leary, grand master in New Hampshire, Franklin.
