Crown Uniform & Linen Service of Nashua receives 2012 Boston Green Award

Crown Uniform & Linen Service of Nashua received a Boston Green Award at the sixth annual Mayor’s Green Awards, which recognizes Crown’s exemplary performance in sustainable environmental practices with water conservation, energy efficiency, and waste reduction. “We are very proud to have been officially recognized for achieving our sustainability improvement goals,” Plato A. Spilios, vice president of Crown, said. “Over the past year, our efforts have ranged from installing LED lighting, replacing our delivery fleet with clean running diesel vehicles, and investing in a water filtration system that saves more than five million gallons of water a year.” Crown is committed to improving environmental practices while maintaining the highest OSHA and HLAC standards for their uniform service, linen service, and medical scrubs service.
