NASHUA â To mark the two-year anniversary of the Affordable Care Act, New Hampshire doctors and local officials held a discussion in Nashua about how the act benefits New Hampshire families.
The discussion was moderated by state Rep. David Campbell, of Nashua. The panel included Bill Toms, M.D., former medical director of the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Clinic in Keene; Sarah Henry, M.D., pediatrician at Childrenâs Hospital Boston; state Rep. Cindy Rosenwald, of Nashua, former chairwoman and current member of the House Health and Human Services Committee; and Ralph Frieden, M.D.
Panelists said, for example, that Medicare is stronger for seniors and women can get mammograms at no extra cost.
