AMHERST â The public is welcome to attend Run for Gus, a communitywide celebration at Souhegan High School on Sunday, April 15.
Run for Gus is a 5K public race/walk to benefit the Hope for Gus Foundation. The event begins at 10 a.m., and features a barbecue, music and activities.
There will be race categories for ages 10 and older. Families with small children are also invited to walk or run together, or just come for the barbecue and family-oriented activities.
âRun for Gus is meant to bring everyone together to celebrate our community and what we can do together,â said senior Taylor Studley, the advertising coordinator for the Ethics Forum, which is helping to organize the event.
For his senior project, Bill Cook has spent the better part of the school year organizing Run for Gus.
