NASHUA – To commemorate the 2012 Easter season, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is presenting a musical dramatization of the birth and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The musical production, “Savior of the World: His Birth and Resurrection,” is free to the public. This production was created by the LDS Church as a testimony of the Savior on the second millennial anniversary of His birth, and has been presented in the Conference Center Theater near Temple Square in Salt Lake City, Utah, since November 2000. There are more than 75 local LDS performers who have been preparing this program for six months under the direction of Jon Forsyth, of Westford, Mass., with musical guidance by Dulene Petrie, of Merrimack. Forsyth, David Dionne, of Merrimack; and Phil Eberhard, of Nashua, have overseen props and staging, with Shannon Orr, of Keene, in charge of costuming. Erika Powell-Burson, of Merrimack, is credited for photography covering this event, along with many others who have worked tirelessly to bring this production to life. The congregation invites all to attend at 7 p.m.
