Animal Hospital of Nashua Wins ‘Have a Heart’ for Homeless Pets

To the Editor: The Humane Society for Greater Nashua extends a heartfelt thank you to the Animal Hospital of Nashua, which raised the most total donations for HSFN’s 2012 Have a Heart Campaign. In their first year participating, their staff and clients got caught up in the excitement and raised $1,354.00 to support the shelter’s pets. The shelter is grateful to everyone affiliated with Animal Hospital of Nashua who gave a $1 donation for a red heart or a $10 donation for a gold heart to help pets awaiting their new homes. A total of 86 businesses and store fronts throughout greater Nashua participated in HSFN’s “Have a Heart” campaign and some locations were covered with our hearts. Each heart proudly displays the name of the donor’s pet or is given in honor of a pet that has passed.
