Juniors and sophomores at Wilton-Lyndeborough Cooperative went on a field trip filled with laughter and exploring recently.
The bus left the school at 8:30 a.m. March 23 bound for the Colonial Theatre in Keene. The students saw the classic Shakespearean play âThe Comedy of Errors,â then attended a question-and-answer session with the actors and director.
There were 58 WLC students, along with the two organizers of the field trip â English teachers Dolores Neilan and Marcia Contarino â and another chaperone, science teacher Raj Kalsi.
The well-acted âThe Comedy of Errorsâ was performed by 13 talented actors and actresses from The Acting Company from New York City. The delightful comedy uses a variety of comedic methods, including slapstick and visual humor, as well as plot twists and Shakespeareâs classic puns.
