Course selection: North’s version of March Madness

March madness is best known for the NCAA basketball Championships each year. At Nashua High School North, freshmen, sophomores and juniors face their own bracket selections and picks, but in the academic realm. This month, students have the maddening task of choosing classes for next year. This time brings mixed emotions. For some, the act of planning for the future can be intimidating. For others, this is a way to set goals and move forward academically. While all students have to fulfill the core requirements, they have huge freedom when it comes to choice – freshmen having the least and seniors having the most.
