The Guinness Book of World Records has a local angle thanks to a healthy collaboration between Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield Foundation and Boys & Girls Clubs across the state.
âWeâre thrilled to share the news today that thanks to the hard work and energy of Boys & Girls Clubs throughout our state, a new Guinness world record for star jumps has been set,â said Richard P. Lafleur, medical director of Anthem in New Hampshire, referring to jumping jacks.
â⦠Iâd like to congratulate all the Boys & Girls Club members who literally jumped their way to a new world record this past spring. By taking part in this event, youâve inspired all of us to reach for new heights and to make healthy, active lifestyles a part of our daily lives.â
In March, Boys & Girls Clubs in New Hampshire joined their peers across the U.S. to break the Guinness world record for the most people doing jumping jacks at the same time.
