Opportunity Networks’ Chili and Chowder Cook Off a huge success

To the Editor: The Souhegan Valley Chamber of Commerce-Opportunity Networks’ first annual Chili Chowder Cook Off, which was held at the Amherst Business Center on Jan. 29, was a huge success thanks in part to the support and participation we received from many area restaurants, amateur chef entrants, the local NH breweries and wineries, and the many countless volunteers that helped us put on this event. We are also very grateful for the overwhelming public support we received from the many people who attended our event. We would like to thank the area restaurants that participated with us this first year: 900 Degrees, The Barn at Hitchiner, Chrysanthi’s Restaurant, The Everyday Epicure, Giorgio’s Ristorante, Kevin’s Kitchen, Moulton’s Market, Panera Bread , Shorty’s, and the Weathervane. Winning top honors in the Professional Best Chili Category was The Barn at Hitchiner, and winning top honors in the Professional Chowder Category was Chrysanthi’s Restaurant.
