Learn Sign Language at the Adult Learning Center

American Sign Language is quickly becoming a recognized international language and is being taught in some school systems as an alternative method of communication. Learn the basics of sign language in an introductory class beginning Thursday, March 8, at the Adult Learning Center. The six-week class focuses basic signing techniques and interpretation as well as on deaf cultural awareness. The cost of the course is $90 plus a book fee. A continuation of Introduction to Sign Language may be available upon completion of the class.
