NASHUA â Mary Ellen Smith of Wilton recounts a story of driving one night at dusk with her husband, Dick.
âThere was this great, big, beautiful full moon,â Smith said. âAnd I said to my husband, âIsnât that full moon beautiful?â And he said, âThat looks oval to me.â And I said, âOh-oh.ââ
Smith said she waited a couple of days before approaching her husband about his ability to only see the moon, half full. She recommended that he get his eyes checked.
ââAnd until we get things worked out,ââ Smith told her husband. âI think it would be better if I drove.ââ
âYou know, itâs hard to say something like that diplomatically,â she said.
