Friends kick off new activities to benefit Marguerite’s Place

NASHUA – The Friends of Marguerite’s Place is ready to kick off a new year of support for the nonprofit agency. Marguerite’s Place has programs for homeless women in crisis and their children. The Friends have begun a three-month fundraiser with The Stocked Fridge in Milford and Merrimack. Simply order meals-to-go online or at the store and indicate that you would like to support Marguerite’s Place during January, February or March. The Stocked Fridge is at 704 Milford Road (Route 101A) in Merrimack and at 99 Union Square (on the Oval) in Milford. The Friends will create Valentine’s Day baskets for the mothers who reside at Marguerite’s Place, help with plans for the agency’s annual Jazz & Juice event at Nashua Country Club on April 13 and host a hearty “Countdown to St. Paddy’s Day” pancake breakfast on Sunday, March 11, at Immaculate Conception Church.
