NASHUA â Back in September, New Hampshire Health Care Association sent requests to each of New Hampshireâs participating residential homes seeking art created by residents, as they do each year.
Before long, submissions started arriving, everything from sculptures to paintings to prints.
The works were displayed during the annual New Hampshire Health Care Association conference and trade show in September. Guests there voted for their favorites pieces, and from the many submissions, 12 were selected for the NHHCA 2012 Fine Art Calendar. Among the finalists, two Nashua residents had paintings selected.
Chet Marble, a resident at Langdon Place of Nashua, won a spot in the calendar with an oil painting of the Portland Head Light on Cape Elizabeth.
