On the weekend of Oct. 29, most students were rejoicing after having been hit by the snowstorm because they had no school the following Monday.
Nashua Christian Academy students, however, received word that they would, in fact, be having school.
Many students were surprised, and some were aggravated. NCA was one of the only high schools in the area that wasnât closed because of the storm.
While most schools didnât even open until Wednesday or later, NCA had school all week. The idea was that NCA could provide a warm place for students, who didnât have power at home, to go during the day.
âI was surprised that the school was open, but as it turned out, the school was actually warmer than my house,â senior Kelsey Seremet said.
On that Monday morning, there were only four seniors in homeroom.
