Nashua woman seeking 2nd Miss New Hampshire crown

NASHUA – Krystal Muccioli, 22, of Nashua, will compete for the Miss New Hampshire USA title at the Radisson Hotel in Manchester on Nov. 27. Muccioli was Miss New Hampshire 2010 in the Miss America pageant system. Muccioli is a University of New Hampshire senior studying nutrition and public health. She also is an academic mentor at the Center for Academic Resources at UNH. “The Miss Universe organization is the most glamorous pageant system in the world,” Muccioli said. “This organization will give me insight and access to special opportunities because they embrace beauty, fun and the power of a successful woman.” K2 Productions, of Los Angeles, recently gave the Miss New Hampshire USA pageant a makeover to give it a more contemporary style. “We’re taking a new look at a traditional idea and revitalizing it,” said K2 Production’s Keith Lewis, co-executive director of Miss New Hampshire USA. Muccioli, a graduate of Nashua High School North, said she would be proud to represent New Hampshire. “We are the first state in the nation for primaries,” she said.
