Strengthening Families program summit planned in Concord

CONCORD – The New Hampshire Strengthening Families Summit will be held 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday, March 18, at the Grappone Conference Center, 70 Constitution Drive. More than 40 states are using the Strengthening Families program as a framework for bridging early care and education, children’s health and mental health, family support and early intervention. The program is based on decades of child abuse prevention studies. The keynote speaker will be Nilofer Ahsan, of the Center for the Study of Social Policy, who leads the national Strengthening Families initiative.
