MILFORD â The Milford Rotary Club announced the induction of two new members, Steve Sareault, of Milford, and Paula Telage, of Nashua.
Past President Allise de Smet presided over the ceremony on Jan. 23 and was assisted by Rotarians Mark Fougere and Paul Grummett, who sponsored the new members.
Sareault is a project manager with Fulcrum Associates, of Amherst. Telage is a development associate for Home Health and Hospice Care, of Merrimack.
The Milford Rotary Club is a service organization with more than six decades of history embodying the Rotary International motto of âService Above Selfâ and of contributing to the betterment of local, regional and international communities.
Club members regularly support End Polio Now, a Rotary International campaign, and Pure Water for the World. Recently, Milford Rotarians participated in a districtwide effort to help Superstorm Sandy victims in New York and New Jersey, and committed to supporting the Milford office of Bridges: Domestic & Sexual Violence Support with a three-year grant totaling $30,000.
Funds for this and other projects are raised through the annual 100 Holes of Golf in One Day tournament held in July at Amherst Country Club, a pancake breakfast in September and an annual Christmas tree sale, all of which have become local traditions for many residents.
