HUDSON – Brandon and Tyler Blanchette will run Big Papa’s Hot Cocoa Stand for a fifth year to benefit the fight against Alzheimer’s disease, and their ongoing efforts have raised the interest of the governor. Charging $1 for a 20-ounce cup of hot chocolate, Brandon, 15, and Tyler, 10, hope to add to the $10,000 they have raised since they started their winter fundraiser. The stand will be open from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, at the Blanchettes’ home at 62 Ferry St. For those unable to stop by, the boys also are asking for donations to be mailed to them at that address.
