BROOKLINE – Cameron Randlett, 16, recently completed his community-based Eagle Scout project. Randlett and a crew of friends and fellow Scouts from Brookline Troop 260 removed the old, rotted post and rail fence system surrounding Richard Maghakian Memorial School. In addition, the boys removed much of the brush and bushes that overgrew the surrounding woods. The project included replacing the fence with new materials. Randlett worked with the Brookline School system and also organized a fundraiser that helped pay for some of the materials. The fence project was recently completed with new posts, rails and mesh system. To show their appreciation, Principal Liz Perry held an assembly at which the elementary school students and staff recognized the efforts of Randlett and some of his crew.
