The Miss New Hampshire Scholarship Program announced that fans can vote for Miss New Hampshire, Megan Lyman, to be a finalist at the 2013 Miss America competition, which will be broadcast from Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas on Saturday, Jan. 12.
The Miss America Organization has posted 53 videos made by each of the 2013 contestants showing off their personality and explaining why they should be chosen as the next Miss America.
Votes can be cast through Thursday, Jan. 10, by visiting www.missamerica.org/videocontest or the âVideo Contestâ Facebook tab at www.facebook.com/missamericaorganization.
Lyman, of Gilford, filmed her video at the highest peak in the Northeastern United States â Mount Washington.
âMt. Washington is very unique and special to New Hampshire, which is why it made the perfect backdrop for my video,â Lyman said.![]()
